About the Northwest Coalition Against Trafficking
The Northwest Coalition Against Trafficking founded by Soroptimist International Northwestern Region, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, is a coalition of many supporters working to Inform, Educate, and Protect women and girls from Human Labor and Sex Trafficking in the Northwestern Region of the United States of America.
Soroptimist International Northwestern Region is the second largest Soroptimist Region in our Federation (behind Japan) and the largest in the United States. Our 104 clubs and over 3,000 members service all the communities throughout Washington, Oregon, Montana, Alaska, and Northern Idaho.
NWCAT's Mission
The coalition protects women and girls in the Northwestern Region and beyond by informing and educating the public through conferences, educational opportunities, events, movie consultation, and safety measures including but not limited to increasing awareness of the need for shelters for victims of trafficking.
